Eunice K. Neubauer graduated from Valparaiso University in ’83 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She worked for nearly 25 years at a Fortune 500, not-for-profit company in marketing and leadership roles. As she was raising three children, she at times considered working for herself and, in 2008, she left the corporate world to become a caregiver.
Eunice launched Choice Connections in early 2009 while becoming a Certified Senior Advisor®. Having always been interested in aging wisely, Eunice was inspired by a presentation made by Ken Dychtwald, PhD on his book, The Age Wave: How the Most Important Trend of Our Time Can Change Your Future. Seniors gain remarkable strengths as they age—among them are wisdom, resilience and creativity. Knowing and working with seniors over the years has taught Eunice a lot. One of her favorite Bible verses is (Psalm 90:12) “Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
As President of Choice Connections Twin Cities South Metro, Eunice is an expert on senior housing in the local Twin Cities area. In working with her, you can save time and stress in finding the right option, whether that’s for yourself or a loved one. Navigating families through the difficult process of finding the right senior housing option, especially in a crisis, is very purposeful work. Eunice enjoys speaking on elder care whether that is for church groups, senior centers or in other settings.
Eunice has served on the Senior Services Committee at her church and is active with St. Paul Senior Workers, Edina Professionals Serving Seniors, and the Elder Resource Association South of the River. She currently lives in St. Paul with her husband Keith and has three adult children and one grandchild. She enjoys biking and staying active, singing in the church choir and volunteering.
